Hence, it is best to take the necessary precautions, and one precaution as advised by social media producer Deanne Revel is to wear compression stockings. These keep your blood from stagnating during the flight by constantly squeezing your legs and helping your veins and leg muscles move blood more efficiently. One important tip is that compression socks should not be too tight as this could cause more harm than good.

The Atlantic reports that he countered it by alternately feasting and fasting in the days running up to a long haul flight. To do so, Urbanivich suggests using online booking sites as they offer “the most convenient way of finding a hotel because you can find almost any hotel, hostel, villa etc. in the world.” In the context of a long-haul flight, knowing that you have good accommodation ready once you arrive at your destination will most certainly help you relax on your trip.
